Ken Jennings Trolls Controversial Rep. George Santos on ‘Jeopardy!’

Ken Jennings wasted no time when it came to roasting Rep. George Santos — the controversial New York politician who was recently indicted on fraud charges — during Wednesday night’s (May 24) episode of Jeopardy!

The hilarious moment came during the finale of the “Jeopardy! Masters” tournament, when 24-year-old contestant Mattea Roach chose the “Recent Events” category for $800.

“Subheads in a piece on this NY Rep.: ‘Lied about where he went to … college’; ‘Allegedly Swindled a disabled vet whose dog was dying,’” Jennings read, to which Roach quickly replied, “Who is George Santos?”

Jennings — who’s been known to deliver a snarky remark every so often since taking over as the permanent Jeopardy! co-host — took the opportunity to get a dig in at Santos.

“I don’t get to say this very much, but George Santos is correct,” he quipped, sending the audience into laughter.

Santos has come under fire from the public for allegedly lying about a multitude of things including his name, his Jewish heritage, that he graduated from Baruch College and that he did not perform as a drag queen in Brazil under the stage name Kitara — despite multiple reporters coming forward with photos, per The Huffington Post.

Following Jennings’ zinger on the hit game show, fans flocked to social media to praise the host for his “sick burn.”

“Was not expecting the Jeopardy Masters finale to include Ken Jennings murdering George Santos on national television,” one wrote, while another added, “Ken Jennings fucking roasted George Santos on Jeopardy tonight and I am HERE for it.”

A third person declared, “I AM DECEASED over the Jeopardy Masters question about George Santos.”

“And the audience erupted in laughter! So, he’s even become a punchline on @Jeopardy!” someone else exclaimed, before another said, “George Santos became a Jeopardy question/answer and a punch line in the same sequence. Remember, kids — respect is EARNED, not given.”

Jeopardy! airs on weeknights at 7/6c on ABC.
