Bay State bachelors have the best chances of finding themselves a mate, a new report found.
Analyzing bars and romantic restaurants as well as population data, American Casino Guide determined that Massholes have a 77.98 out of 100 chance to capture romance — with one out of every 2.39 women there single.
Virginia may be for lovers, but in neighboring West Virginia, fellas will have the hardest time finding the one.
The state had a paltry 16.65 out of 100 chance of making a love match, partly due to the low supply of eligible women, with just one out of every 3.06 women being single.
New York, where one of out 2.31 ladies is likely to be single, was the eighth-best state for men looking to woo women, with odds 63.73 out of 100.
Big Apple-based dating coach Amy Nobile was shocked New York state wasn’t higher on the list.
“It’s super fun to date in New York,” Nobile said, ticking off the diversity of people and enormous dating pool. “When someone in New York City says there’s no one good in New York, that I should move to Dallas, to San Francisco, I already know, ‘This is about your mindset.’”
Licensed therapist Alyson Cohen meanwhile warned Massachusetts men not to get too cocky about their chances of finding love just based on where they live.
“How can a man increase his odds of finding love? Go to therapy,” Cohen said. “I don’t think going to a lot of bars increases your chance of finding love.”
