Albanese government considering new missile system

The Albanese government is considering a new missile system to protect regions across the country’s north.

The mobile missile launchers would be mounted onto Bushmaster vehicles and strategically placed along the coast between Broome and Cairns.

The mobile units would also be deployed to neighbouring Pacific Island nations to assist in any arising conflict, according to the Defence department.
