Albanese government making a ‘bad situation worse’

Shadow Treasurer Angus Taylor says the Albanese government is making a “bad situation worse”.

“When you have crashed the economy, when the standard of living has collapsed, the only way you can fix it is to get back to basics with a proper economic agenda,” he told Sky News Australia.

“That’s not what we’ve seen from Labor.

“In fact, they’re making a bad situation worse with everything they’re doing.”

Mr Taylor’s remarks come as Australia’s cost of living crisis continues to worsen and put a strain on everyday Australians.
