Australian Transport Safety Bureau Chief Commissioner Angus Mitchell says members of the public reporting a bushfire on Boxing Day was what led authorities to the discovery of a plane crash south-west of Sydney.
“Quite tragically, two onboard that airplane have lost their lives,” Mr Mitchell said during a media conference on Tuesday.
