Tom Sandoval claims Rachel Leviss “used” him, calls her “selfish” for getting involved in affair: “So goddamn disrespectful”

We all remember where we were when Rachel “Raquel” Leviss broke her Scandoval silence on Bethenny Frankel‘s Just B podcast. In tonight’s episode of Vanderpump Rules, we finally get to see her former castmates’ reaction to the bombshell interview — and Tom Sandoval certainly had a lot to say about it.

For those who don’t know, Sandoval and Leviss’ months-long affair was exposed last year when his then-girlfriend Ariana Madix found an explicit video of Leviss on his phone. When Leviss returned from her three-month stay at a mental health facility last summer, she opened up about the scandal on Frankel’s podcast.

During tonight’s Pump Rules, Sandoval brings up the podcast episode in an emotional conversation with Tom Schwartz, where he admits to feeling “shell-shocked” by some of Leviss’ claims.

“She’s acting as though she somehow got it the worst out of everybody,” he says through tears. “I made changes to myself thinking that maybe one day she would, like, see all the hard work that I’ve done on myself and would appreciate it.”

Sandoval adds, “I don’t understand how she could think that I was anything but somebody who just loved and cared about her. I would do anything for her, man.”

The topic comes up again when he meets up with James Kennedy, whose rare expression of sympathy for Sandoval quickly changes when he begins disparaging Leviss.

“Throughout this whole process, I really tried to look out for Raquel and I’m realizing now that I cared for her way more than she fucking cared for me,” Sandoval says. “I’m listening to the shit that’s coming out of her mouth and I’m like, it’s fucking bullshit. It’s so goddamn disrespectful. She used me and now is throwing me away.”

Kennedy chimes in to say he’s “done talking shit” about Leviss — but Sandoval keeps at it, this time bringing up Kennedy’s failed engagement with the former SUR waitress.

“She was working on herself when she broke up with you. She was selfish during that time, she was selfish with getting involved with me,” he says. “She said back in the day when she asked you to stop drinking, she did it with the thought that you wouldn’t be able to do it.”

Tensions reach their boiling point when Kennedy tells Sandoval that he and Leviss were never in love and claims their relationship was more of a “fuck fest.” He also reminds the Tom Sandoval & The Most Extras frontman of how much he loved Madix as he scolds him for being a “liar” and attempting to “rewrite history.”

“He just can’t let go of the past, can he? I’m just waiting for him to get a clue. Or maybe he never will,” Kennedy says. “I could see it now. He’s 75 still at the rock and roll bar on Sunset doing karaoke.”

And this is why James Kennedy is the No. 1 guy in the group.

Vanderpump Rules airs on Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo. New episodes are available to stream the next day on Peacock.
