Lakers vs. Knicks live score, results, highlights from LeBron James’ return to Madison Square Garden

LeBron James will play inside of Madison Square Garden for the first time since 2020 when the Lakers face the Knicks on Tuesday night.

The four-time MVP only participated in Los Angeles’ home game against New York during the 2021-22 season, and he missed both matchups in 2020-21. James sat out Monday’s contest against the Nets because of left ankle soreness, but he is expected to play on Tuesday, according to ESPN’s Dave McMenamin.

James will not only be looking to lead the Lakers to a win, but also cut down the gap between himself and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar on the NBA’s all-time scoring list. James is just 117 points away from passing Abdul-Jabbar, who has been the career points leader for more than three decades.

Can James deliver yet another scintillating performance at MSG?
